A 15-minute Sunday routine
- Copy every due date from your syllabus, Canvas, Google Classroom or planner app into Assignments & due dates. Write the day next to it: “Lab report – due Thu”.
- Add tests and quizzes to Tests & exams, then count back: a Friday test means study sessions on Tuesday and Thursday.
- Block study time in the day boxes—“Bio review 7–8 pm” is easier to keep than “study bio”.
- Set three goals for the week that are bigger than single tasks, like “finish essay outline”.
Study-planning tips that actually help
- Split big assignments. A research paper due in two weeks becomes “pick topic”, “find 5 sources”, “outline”, each with its own day.
- Review right after class. Ten minutes the same day beats an hour the night before the test.
- Plan around your busiest days. If Wednesday has practice and a shift, put nothing extra there.
- Keep a questions list. Use Notes & questions for things to ask your teacher or professor.
